Agricultural extension partners across Region I continue to strengthen their data management capabilities as Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) cooperators and Extension Service Providers (ESPs) participate in an orientation on the Farmers and Extension Enterprise Development Information System (FEEDIS) of the Department of Agriculture, conducted via Google Meet on February 3, 2026.
As of writing, a total of seven (7) participants have already registered for the activity.
The orientation, spearheaded by the Agricultural Training Institute ā Regional Training Center I (ATI-RTC I), aims to equip LSAs and ESPs with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively utilize FEEDIS as a digital platform for profiling, monitoring, and reporting agricultural extension initiatives.
Participants were introduced to the core features and functionalities of the system, including data encoding, updating of enterprise profiles, and generation of reports essential for evidence-based planning and decision-making. The activity also emphasizes the importance of accurate and timely data submission in strengthening agricultural programs and ensuring efficient delivery of services to farmers and stakeholders.
Resource persons from the Department of Agriculture - Regional Field Office 1 are guiding participants through hands-on demonstrations and walkthroughs of the system, allowing them to better understand its practical applications in their respective roles as extension partners.
The initiative underscores ATI-RTC Iās continued commitment to enhancing the capacities of LSAs and ESPs in support of a more responsive and data-driven agricultural extension system in the region.
Through FEEDIS, the Department of Agriculture continues to streamline information management and improve coordination among key players in the agricultural sector, ultimately contributing to increased productivity and sustainable development.Ā
