Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan – The Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 1 (DA-ATI-RTC 1), and Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 1 (DA-RFO 1) conducted a Harmonization and Planning Workshop on February 12, 2025.
The collaborative initiative brought together the personnel from both agencies to align strategic objectives and program implementation for enhanced agricultural development in the Ilocos Region.
It also aims to streamline resources, avoid duplication of efforts, and maximize the positive impact on the agricultural landscape. During the workshop, the banner focal persons and program coordinators from both agencies focused on aligning effective and impactful approaches to agricultural interventions, with an emphasis on harmonizing training programs and other extension services to better serve farmers and stakeholders in the region.
Outputs from the workshops were presented to ATI’s OIC-Center Director, Dr. Jayvee Bryan G. Carillo, Asst. Center Director, Dr. Josephine K. Aben; and Chiefs from the various divisions of DA-RFO 1 including Ms. Doris Joy Garcia (PMED), Dr. Constancia Diaz (ILD), Ms. Analiza Ramos (FOD), and Ms. Rhoda Galvan (AMAD).
