The Season-Long Training for the Coconut Farm Business School (FBS) was officially launched in Brgy. Cabubuhan, Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental, today, May 21, 2025. This is the 3rd batch of the Coco-FBS launched in Region 10 this year.
The 5-month long training, from May to September, is facilitated by the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center X (ATI-RTC X) in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Magsaysay.
Through interactive discussions, group planning, and self-directed learning, the training program aims to encourage farmers to share information and experiences, and more importantly, to transform their coconut farms into profitable farm enterprises.
Present earlier is Hon. Mayor Charlie B. Buhisan, Municipal Mayor of Magsaysay; Mr. Francisco O. Naldoza, Agricultural Technologist and Facilitator/Resource Speaker of MAO Magsaysay; Mr. Donato Jomen, PCA Gingoog City Agriculturist II; and Mr. Noriel Kris O. Santillan, ATI-RTC X CFIDP Focal Person.
