A total of 12 young farmer interns, along with representatives from partner farms, participated in the activity, which marks the beginning of their journey toward becoming organic agripreneurs.

A key highlight of the event was the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)  among ATI-RTC X, partner farms, and participating interns. The agreement formalizes the partnership and underscores a shared commitment to advancing agricultural internship opportunities in the region.

YIPOA is a 21-month highly specialized internship program designed to engage and empower young individuals who aspire to pursue a career or enterprise in organic agriculture. The program consists of a 9-month on-farm internship with a chosen organic farm partner whose operations match the intern’s proposed enterprise, and 12-month enterprise implementation with continued mentoring and support to help interns establish their own organic enterprise.
