LANAO DEL NORTE- Agricultural Training Institute–Regional Training Center X conducted an orientation seminar on farm-level biosecurity for the assigned caretakers of two (2) operational 40-head finisher swine housing projects on April 15, 2026.
The seminar aimed to reinforce proper biosecurity practices, ensure the health and productivity of swine stocks, and prevent the entry and spread of diseases within the facilities.
The orientation was conducted at two separate sites: in Cabasagan, Baroy, Lanao del Norte, with the officers and members of the Coco-Based Farmers Association of Cabasagan; and in San Isidro Upper, Lala, Lanao del Norte, with the officers and members of the San Isidro Upper Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative.
The activity was led by Mr. Jeric L. Cabatac, Agriculturist II and Livestock Focal Person, together with Engr. Abdul Azis Y. Abdul Nasser, Assistant Livestock Focal Person.
Meanwhile, the ATI-X team also conducted site monitoring for the upcoming construction of an 80-head finisher swine housing project in San Isidro Upper, Lala, Lanao del Norte. The monitoring ensured compliance with the specifications set in the detailed engineering design. ###
