“We were guided through the systematic steps of the framework, allowing us to understand how each component directly contributes to improved yields and quality. Through hands-on demonstrations and real-life examples, we gained confidence in applying the principles of the PalayCheck system effectively. This practical approach will surely empower us farmers to make informed decisions,” Dela Cruz said.

Beyond technical production, the curriculum covered essential farming systems and business management, including:  Integrated Rice-Based Farming System (Palayamanan), climate change and its implications for rice production, farm planning, budgeting and record keeping, and farming as a business.

The training was conducted by Development Management Officer I and Project Officer Bryan Jay Cabugwason. ###
