The three-day activity capacitated 30 local coconut farmers and   enhanced their technical expertise and practical skills in nursery establishment. To better facilitate learning, the training included a series of lectures and discussions, with hands-on demonstrations and immersive farm visits.

Participant Rogelio Tagbo highlighted the impact of the program. He expressed,  “dako kaayo among nakat-onan sa training nga ang husto ug maampingong pagpili sa dekalidad nga liso sa lubi usa ka importante nga pundasyon aron makapatubo og lig-on, himsog, ug produktibong mga punuan sa umaabot.

The topics were focused on nursery management techniques  and practices that help  increase seed germination success rates, and improve the overall quality of planting materials.
