The Integrated Learning Site on Agriculture-Cultural Holistic Herbal Healing Center (ILSA-CHHC), led by Tribal King Chaplain Colonel Datu Lito Dahines-Monreal Sr., visited Datu Abdul Dadia, Panabo City, on September 9, 2024 to seek guidance on how to further develop their farm into a recognized learning site for agriculture with the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XI (ATI-RTC XI).
Datu Lito Dahines-Monreal Sr., who serves as the Executive Director and Chief of the Universal Task Force & Crime Prevention Ancestral Domain IPโs Peace Process Mindanao Wide Force Multiplier, along with his community members, is committed to promoting sustainable agriculture and cultural heritage through ILSA-CHHC.
During the visit, the ILSA-CHHC team engaged in fruitful discussions with key representatives from ATI-RTC XI, including Center Director Ms. Alicia Rose Neberja, Planning Officer Mr. Jerry Carpentero, and Agriculturist PJ Mahumot. These experts shared their insights on best practices, training programs, and the necessary steps to qualify ILSA-CHHC as an accredited learning site. The collaboration underscores the importance of integrating traditional knowledge with modern agricultural techniques to create a holistic learning environment.
The ATI-RTC XI team expressed their support for the community farms in the region that wants to become a learning site, just like ILSA-CHHC that visits the bureau to learn how they can become an accredited LSA in the future,ย highlighting the center's potential to serve as a vital resource for local farmers and indigenous communities.
This visit marks a significant step towards achieving ILSA-CHHC's goal of becoming one of the learning sites for agriculture that actively collaborates with ATI-RTC XI.
