Cassava Chips
Cassava, alongside other root crops, is a good source of Vitamin C, which plays a role in immune function and maintaining skin integrity. Yellow varieties of sweet potato contain beta carotene which is a precursor of Vitamin A that has a role in eye health and immune function.
Ingredients
• Kamoteng kahoy
• Oil
• Asin
• Asukal
• Cheese powder o onion powder (opsyunal)
Procedure
1. Hugasan ang kamoteng kahoy at balatan.
2. Hiwain ng manipis (1/8 inch).
3. Ibabad ang hiniwang kamoteng kahoy sa brine solution (5 tasang tubig, 3 kutsarang asin at 4 kutsarang asukal) ng 8 - 10 minuto.
4. Patuyuin. Mainam kung sa init ng araw patutuyuin.
5. Iprito hanggang maging golden brown ang kulay.
6. Palamigin at ibalot.
