Tantangan, South Cotabato—The Association of Learning Sites for Agriculture in Region XII, Inc. (ALSA Dose) convened its 2nd Quarter Regional Officers’ Meeting on May 11, 2026. Facilitated by the Agricultural Training Institute–Regional Training Center XII through the Partnerships and Accreditation Section, the gathering served to align institutional objectives and evaluate the progress of ongoing agricultural extension initiatives within the region.
The agenda focused on the formal adoption of previous agreements and the review of accomplishment reports from the first quarter. Participants also discussed standardized procedures for the submission of Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) accomplishment reports and conducted a formal presentation of the newly developed ALSA Dose website. These administrative updates are designed to improve data management and communication efficiency among the network of accredited learning sites.
Dr. Jessie V. Beldia, OIC-Center Director of the training center, attended the meeting to deliver a message of support, reinforcing the role of the association in scaling agricultural extension services. The session was led by ALSA Dose Regional Officers under the leadership of Mechelle P. This meeting serves as a mechanism for strengthening the collaborative framework between the government and private-sector agricultural partners. By streamlining reporting processes and enhancing digital platforms, the association improves its capacity to support rural development, ultimately contributing to the continued professionalization and growth of local farming communities.
