The Training and Technology Updating on Coffee Processing, Batch 1, concluded on April 15, 2026, in Tupi, South Cotabato. The final day featured a discussion led by Marvin V. Genita, MBM, Supervising Trade Industry Development Specialist of the Department of Trade and Industry Region XII, who covered packaging, labeling, storage, and market and enterprise development. These sessions provided participants with information on product presentation, quality standards, and market alignment.

Following the classroom sessions, the participants visited Salcedo Farms in Barangay Linan, a site that integrates coffee production with agritourism and community-building initiatives. Ms. Pau Salcedo, the farm owner, shared the development history of the venture and emphasized the importance of consistency, community, and the creator in sustaining a coffee business. The training ended with a closing program where participants received Certificates of Completion, and Salcedo Farms was recognized for hosting the farm tour.

Dr. Jessie V. Beldia, OIC-Center Director of ATI-RTC XII, delivered the final message, stressing the importance of integrity in product development as a foundation for industry success. This three-day activity strengthened the technical knowledge of the participants regarding the coffee value chain. By applying these standards in their own operations, the participants are prepared to improve product quality and output, contributing to the development of competitive coffee-based enterprises and the economic advancement of their local communities.
