On June 5, 2024, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XII (ATI-RTC XII) officially launched two new Learning Sites for Agriculture in Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat, and Surallah, South Cotabato.
The first learning site, 6L's Integrated Farm School Corporation, was inaugurated in Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat. The event was graced by key figures including Ms. Mary Ann M. Morales, Provincial Director of DTI-Sultan Kudarat, Mr. Norodin Palti, Supervising Agriculturist from OPAG-Sultan Kudarat, and Ms. Amilita Dagundon from the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist of Lambayong.
In Surallah, South Cotabato, the Depuyart Fish Farm was inaugurated as the second learning site. The launching ceremony was attended by Mr. Judgie Caesar Alin, AB Juris Doctor and Private Secretary of the Mayor, Barangay Chairman Hon. Christopher Lazo, Mr. Leo Jun Mauricio from TESDA-Provincial Training Center-Surallah, Mr. Ric Punzalan, Business Counselor from Negosyo Center Surallah, Engr. Mohammad Naif Abdulazis, Science Research Specialist at DOST South Cotabato, and Municipal Agriculturist Mr. Loel S. Nillos.
During the events, representatives from the various agencies extended their messages of support and expressed excitement for potential partnerships with the two learning sites. They highlighted the vital role of agricultural education in boosting the local economy and improving the livelihoods of the community. These sites aim to empower farmers and agripreneurs, serving as hubs for practical agricultural training and development.
