The first ever implementation of Binhi ng Pag-asa Program (BPP) Provincial Youth Summit in Region XII. A historic and a successful BPP Provincial Youth Summit was conducted last November 21-22, 2022 via Online and at the Provincial Gymnasium, Amas, Kidapawan City, Cotabato Province.
The 2-day summit aimed to unleash the skills of the BPP Graduates on various project contests, widen their network and level up their capacities as empowered NextGen agripreneurs.
Present in the summit were Cotabato 3rd District Board Members Hon. Joemar Cerebo and Hon. Jonathan M. Tabara, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAG) Consultants Ms Amalia Datukan and Engr. Eliseo M. Mangliwan, OPAG Administrative Officer V Mr. Ruel Villanueva, Provincial Youth Development Officer Designate Mr. Nikko Adrian V. Perez and 4H Provincial Coordinator. Ms Judy C. Gomez.
Moreover, the youth agripreneurs have learned additional agri-fishery inputs, leadership skills and youth-led programs through meaningful discussions. BPP National Trainer Ms Andrea D. Galvan, YFIFT 2021 Mr. Jomarie Lao and YFFLTPJ 2021 Mr. Rommel Española served as the Resource Persons.
During the closing program, Center Director Abdul I. Daya-an expressed his heartfelt message and sincere gratitude for the successful implementation of BPP in Region 12 in collaboration with the Office of Senator Grace Poe and to the Province of Cotabato headed by Hon. Emmylou Taliño Medoza for their commendable assistance and valuable efforts on the said program.
