The DA ATI-RTC XII took its smart farming to new heights through the Digital Farmers Program: Farm Connect last August 30, 2023, in Midsayap, Cotabato.

Farmers from CGLAD IA and other farmers from Midsayap got to learn about Drone Farming, as well as its benefits. Farmers also got to see the drone take to the skies, showing its efficiency and reducing time and effort in their farming lifestyle. This demo is led by the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist of Midsayap. Farmers will also receive drone provision through the OMAg - Midsayap. The ATI-RTC XII also gave a brief recap of the SATs applications that would further help their crops.

The DFP Farm Connect is an initiative that aims to introduce farmer groups to the advantages of agriculture drone technology and connect them to service providers for multifunctional applications such as sowing, fertilizer and pesticide application, and crop monitoring, among others.

The training was also made possible with the coordination of the ATI - Region XII and the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist of Midsayap led by acting Municipal Agriculturist Nora D. Henry, MMPA, and Rice Coordinator Rey Ygay.
