The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XII (ATI-RTC XII) conducted a validation for the establishment and enhancement of Farmer's Information and Technology Services (FITS) Centers in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). Led by ISS Chief Hannadi Guiamad Pompong and Technical Staff Kissciel Rubi, the team assessed three potential FITS Centers from the municipalities of General Salipada K. Pendatun, Datu Anggal Midtimbang, and South Upi, alongside one existing center set for enhancement.

The validation process aimed to evaluate the readiness, accessibility, and specific needs of these centers to ensure their effective operation and service to local farming communities. The official launch of the three new FITS Centers is anticipated to take place this week, marking an important milestone in strengthening agricultural extension services and empowering farmers in BARMM.
