The DA ATI-RTC XII, through its Information Services Section, launched the Farmers Information Technology Services (FITS) Center in Datu Anggal Midtimbang Maguindanao del Sur, today, May 15, 2024.

The newly established FITS Center will provide increased access to various agricultural Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials for farmers in the town.

MAFAR Municipal Officer Jeahan A. Ali stated that the turnover of the FITS Center will serve as a mini-library for farmers, providing essential agricultural knowledge and greatly benefiting residents by offering access to technology and resources for agriculture.

The LGU received a comprehensive set of equipment, including desktop computer, computer table, printer with ink, office supplies, office table and chairs, steel and wooden cabinets, hard drive, IEC materials, and various agricultural reading materials.

The launch event was facilitated by Kissciel Rubi, Technical Staff at ATI-RTC XII, and attended by Information Services Section Chief Hannadi Guiamad-Pompong, along with DAM officials and staff.
