On May 20, 2024, the Farmers and Fisherfolks Day Cum Technology Forum took place at the City Sports and Cultural Center in Tacurong City. The event was attended by Ms. Simona P. Dela Cruz, ATI-RTC XII Training Specialist III and Chief of the CDMS, who received a certificate of recognition on behalf of ATI-RTC XII. The City LGU awarded this recognition in appreciation of the continued partnership and support provided by the center in delivering agricultural extension services to local farmers.

The forum aligns with the national celebration of "Farmers and Fishermen's Month," which was declared by President Corazon C. Aquino under Proclamation No. 393. This annual celebration honors the invaluable contributions of Filipino farmers and fishermen to the nation's economy and development.
