On May 23, 2024, trainers participating in the Coconut-Based Farm Business School (COCO FBS) training engaged in a market survey at Koronadal City Public Market, South Cotabato, as part of a practical exercise. Led by resource speaker Ms. Agripina Leonico, the activity aimed to deepen the trainers' understanding of marketing and market dynamics.

During the morning session, participants interviewed vendors about coconut products, gathering insights on supply, demand, pricing, and consumer preferences. This hands-on approach gave them real-world data on market trends, enabling them to make informed business decisions.

In the afternoon, Ms. Leonico provided a detailed lecture on analyzing and reporting market survey findings. She emphasized the importance of understanding consumer behavior and market trends for making strategic business decisions. Additionally, participants were guided through the process of developing a Farm Business Plan, which included setting goals, targeting markets, planning production, and making financial projections.

The activity served as an essential part of equipping participants with the tools and knowledge necessary to enhance their coconut-based farm enterprises.
