TRENTO, Agusan del Sur- The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 recently evaluated the proposed Farmers Information and Technology Services (FITS) Kiosk of Seglo Integrated Farm and Princess Nora Free Range Chicken Farm in Trento, Agusan del Sur.

OIC-Center Director Fil Victor A. Babanto spearheads the said evaluation on June 24, 2022. Together with him is OIC-Information Section Chief Jason Paul Dads E. Jampac. Information Officer II Ginalyn V. Arbutante also joined in the team.

During the evaluation, CD Babanto handed various Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials to the LSA Cooperators and were displayed in the said FITS kiosks.

The Seglo Integrated Farm is owned by Mr. & Mrs. Alfred and Sharon Honor. It is a certified Learning Site for Agriculture of the ATI-Caraga since June 28, 2021. Located in Brgy. Kapatungan, Trento, Agusan del Sur. With rice, catfish and poultry as their focus commodity.

On the other hand, Mr. Bernabe B. Baguios is the Learning Site for Agriculture Cooperator of the Princess Nora Free Range Chicken Farm. The said farm is located in P-10, Poblacion, Trento, Agusan del Sur and was certified on February 3,2022. The 1.5hectare farm is planted with vegetable, coconut, and fruit trees and with poultry.

The two LSA Farms FITS Kiosks have positive results as evaluated by the team. Both Farms are now ready to accommodate visitors such as farmers, students and other stakeholders who are willing to learn about agriculture through their respective FITS kiosk.
