Digital Farmers Program 102
Municipal Agriculturist Jose Zaldy Manug expresses his heartfelt gratitude to the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 for conducting the Digital Farmers Program 102 in Esperanza, Agusan del Sur on march 14, 2022.

ESPERANZA, Agusan del Sur- The Digital Farmers Program (DFP)102 currently rolls out in Esperanza, Agusan del Sur with twenty-two (22) participants comprising farmers and youths.

This is along with an aim at encouraging farmers to utilize technologies in farming. This course focuses on in-depth applications on agriculture and e-commerce and usage of social media and smartphones in boosting their farming productivity.

The DFP 102 is in coordination with the Municipal Agriculture Office of Esperanza, Agusan del Sur headed by Municipal Agriculturist (MA) Jose Zaldy Manug. Manug expresses his heartfelt gratitude to the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 for conducting such one-of-a-kind training. “I really appreciate this training since it enhances the knowledge of our farmers to be abreast in digital world with the assistance of their youth partners,” MA Manug stated during the opening program.

The ATI-RTC 13 conducts the said training in partnership with Smart Communications, Inc. which runs from March 14-15, 2022 with Maria Den Parro as Project Officer. Resource Persons are Ressell Angelie Fetalsana and Ginalyn Arbutante, Information Officers II of the Institute.
