PATIN-AY, PROSPERIDAD, AGUSAN DEL SUR – Provincial and Municipal agriculturists and staff plus local officials in this province met for the Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation of PAFES and Presentation of the Collaborative Provincial Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Program (CPAFEP). The said activity was held at the Hygeia IntegraMeds Center on January 31 to February 1, 2023. Also present were representatives from the Department of Agriculture (DA), ATI, BFAR, and other National Government Agencies (NGAs) and the academe.

Armando Valiente, Provincial Agriculturist of Agusan del Sur, said that they will maximize PAFES as an organizational instrument to continue the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of agri-fishery programs and projects in the province.

He added that the two-day activity will fast-track the full implementation of PAFES in Agusan del Sur in the coming years. (Report by Gerald Domingo)
