DILIMAN, QUEZON CITY – The Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 13 participated in the nationwide celebration of ATI’s 36th founding anniversary which was commemorated at the ATI Central Office from January 23-27, 2023.

Among the series of activities that the Center representatives joined were the setting up of booths showcasing the products of the Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSAs), loyalty awards, oath-taking of newly-appointed/promoted ATI personnel, sports fest, and fellowship night.

With the theme, "Embracing Extension Modernization for a Progressive and Sustainable Agriculture and Fisheries", the week-long celebration highlighted ATI’s 36 years of empowering farmers and fishers as well as the milestones of ATI in the past three decades.

“This day is a celebration of hard work, cooperation, and purpose,” said Engr. Remelyn Recoter, OIC Director IV of ATI during her opening message. Furthermore, she challenged the men and women of ATI to continue to work productively and meet timelines efficiently in response to the growing needs of the beneficiaries and stakeholders.

Among the ATI-RTC 13 personnel who attended the 36th anniversary celebration were Fil Victor A. Babanto (OIC Center Director), Violeta T. Laguna (OIC Asst. Center Director), Nena L. Lomuntad (Chief, PMEu), Jason Paul Dads E. Jampac (OIC Chief, ISS), and Ginalyn V. Arbutante (Information Officer II). Also in attendance to receive their awards were retirees and former directors of ATI-RTC 13 namely Samuel L. Calonzo (former Center Director) and Heracleo A. Paler (former Asst. Center Director).
