Agrilink 2022

PASAY CITY, Metro Manila – Caraga Region 13 was the focus region during the recently concluded Agrilink/Foodlink/Aqualink 2022 at the World Trade Center last October 6-8, 2022. As such, the region was given the opportunity to showcase its three high-value crops, namely cacao, coffee, and abaca.

The event is considered the biggest internationally recognized and most participated agribusiness exhibition in the Philippines. With the theme, “Inclusive Growth in Agribusiness Chain: Key to Stability” it aims to create opportunities for farmers and all participants in the value chain and gain access to markets, inputs, and services like finance and training.

Aside from Caraga exhibitors, over 500 indoor trades and outdoor booths showcasing agribusiness products, information, technologies, market linkages, promotion, equipment, and services were also present during the three-day agribusiness exhibition.

The Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 13 (ATI-Caraga) was invited by Christopher Lindo, Regional Agriculture and Fisheries Council (RAFC) Chair and concurrently the Chair of AGRILINK 2022. The Center shared ATI’s Learn, Exhibit, Advise, Disseminate, and Support or LEADS Approach to Extension through Ginalyn V. Arbutante, Information Officer II of ATI-Caraga, at the Amorsolo Hall, Mezzanine of the World Trade Center on October 6, 2022.

OIC Center Director Fil Victor A. Babanto joined Chairman Lindo, DA-13 Regional Executive Director Ricardo Oñate Jr., and other guests to act as audience of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. during his keynote speech at the opening ceremonies.
