LOS ANGELES, Butuan City - To validate the authenticity, integrity, and confidentiality of electronic documents, staff from the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 13 (ATI-Caraga) attended an online Orientation-Seminar on Digital Signature on August 4, 2022. This undertaking was conducted by the Information and Communication Technology Services (ICTS) of the Department of Agriculture through the partnership with ATI Central Office.

Kit Paul Paler (Supply Officer-designate) and Jonaid Noor (Administrative Support Staff) joined the said activity. They underwent an orientation on Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) and learned about the essence and components of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Digital Certificates, and Digital Signature.

The PNPKI aims to facilitate the secure electronic transfer of information for a range of network activities such as e-commerce, internet banking, and confidential email. The PKI is a system of processes, technologies, policies, and personnel to create, manage, distribute, use, store and revoke digital certificates.
