BUTUAN CITY – Five Farmers’ Information Technology Services (FITS) Kiosks received ICT equipment such as laptops and printers from the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 13 (ATI-Caraga) on February 10-11, 2022.
These FITS Kiosks are located in the Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSAs) namely Robrosa's Strawberry and Herbs Farm (Brgy. Anticala), Jabez Farm (Brgy. Nongnong), Guias Integrated Farm (Brgy. Nongnong), EM Nature Farm (Brgy. Dulag), and Billonid Farm (Brgy. Tungao).
As FITS Kiosks, these farms can now give reading materials to visiting farmers to further their knowledge on agriculture. The turn-over of ICT equipment was spearheaded by OIC Center Director Fil Victor A. Babanto and witnessed by staff from the Information Services Section (ISS) of ATI-Caraga and Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) from the City Agriculture Office of Butuan.
