BUTUAN CITY - Mayors, Vice Mayors, Sangguniang Bayan (SB) Members, and various local government unit (LGU) representatives gathered at the Almont Inland Resort on August 25, 2023 to engage in a comprehensive discussion with the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 13 (ATI-RTC 13). The event, titled "Briefing on ATI's Programs and Services for Local Chief Executives (LCEs)," aimed to foster closer collaboration between ATI and local leaders to advance agricultural development in the region.

The team from ATI-RTC 13 was led by the OIC Center Director of ATI-RTC 13, Dr. Jessie Beldia, who welcomed the participants during his message. Also present to explain their programs and services were OIC Assistant Center Director Violeta Laguna (Rice Program, RCEF, PAFES, and CFIDP), Information Services Section  Chief Fil Victor Babanto (Techno Gabay Program, e-Learning Program, School-on-the-Air, Digital Farmers Program), Senior Agriculturist Engr. Matt Andrew Baquiano (Learning Site for Agriculture, Livestock Program, Rural-based Organizations, NUPAP),  Planning Officer II Nena Lomuntad (Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation), Training Specialist II Elena Madelo-Baquiano (Trainings, GAD, Organic Agriculture, Corn Program, and HVCDP), and Media Production Specialist II Mary Grace Salve (Scholarships).

The briefing was organized to achieve several objectives such as increasing participant’s awareness of ATI's programs and services, encouraging collaborative partnerships, and addressing agricultural extension issues in the locality.

The interactive event witnessed discussions, presentations, and Q&A sessions. The event concluded with a renewed commitment from both parties to work closely to further enhance agricultural development in the region.
