BUTUAN CITY – More activities related to the Province-led Agriculture and Fisheries Extension System (PAFES) in the month of November 2022.

On November 7 will be the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) by Agusan del Sur Governor Santiago Cane Jr. By that time, all five provinces shall have inked the PAFES agreement. To mention, the province of Agusan del Norte signed the PAFES MOA last year as a pilot province. This year, Surigao del Norte signed on May 18, followed by Surigao del Sur on June 15, and the Province of Dinagat Island (PDI) on September 29.

In PDI, there will be three planning workshops, particularly in the crafting of the Collaborative Province-led Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Program (CPAFEP) on November 16, 23, and 29. A similar activity will also take place in Surigao del Sur on November 17-18.
