LANUZA & TAGBINA, Surigao del Sur – Municipal and City Agriculturists and Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) from the north and south clusters of Surigao del Sur met for the Planning-Workshop of the Province-led Agriculture and Fisheries Extension System (PAFES).

On May 25, 2022, at the ACM Surfing View Hotel, the participants presented their 2023-2025 plans for the Agriculture and Fisheries Extension (AFE) sector. They were from the north cluster namely: Carrascal, Cantilan, Madrid, Carmen, Lanuza, and Cortes. Similarly, participants of the south cluster composed of Barobo, Tagbina, Hinatuan, Lingig, and Bislig City also presented their plans on May 26th at the DA-Research Outreach Station in Tagbina.

OIC-Regional Technical Director Rebecca Atega of DA-RFO 13, Provincial Agriculturist Marcos Quico, representatives from BFAR, PCA, ATI, and PhilFIDA were also present to critique the presentations. The outputs will be consolidated and finalized by OPAG and will form part of the CPAFEP document.
