BUTUAN CITY - The Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center 13 (ATI-RTC 13), in collaboration with the Province of Surigao del Sur - Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAG SDS), successfully conducted "Training on Photography and Vlogging (Batch 2)" from September 5 to 8, 2023, at the ATI Golden Tara Hall in Butuan City.

Twenty (20) participants, comprising AEWs and Local Support to Agriculture (LSA) staff from Surigao del Sur, successfully completed the course. This training equipped them with the skills and knowledge needed to document extension practices, capture engaging photos and videos, and promote programs and activities related to agriculture and fisheries within their LGUs.

Moreover, the participants learned how to process images and present them in their finished form, making them suitable for the development of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials. Furthermore, they were equipped with the knowledge and skills to create engaging vlogs and harness the potential of social media for effective outreach.

The training program was enriched by the expertise of Mr. Erwin M. Mascariñas, a multi-awarded photojournalist. His insights and guidance were invaluable in helping participants master the art and science of photography and vlogging.
