ATI tree planting
OIC-Center Director of ATI-RTC 13, Fil Victor A. Babanto and Punong Barangay of Los Angeles, Butuan City, Irene Monden led in the tree planting activity which is in line with ATI's 35th Anniversary.

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City - As part of the Agricultural Training Institute’s 35th Founding Anniversary celebration, the ATI in Caraga conducted a tree planting activity in the said barangay last January 28, 2022.

The said initiative was led by OIC- Center Director Fil Victor A. Babanto and the Barangay Captain of Los Angeles, Hon. Irene Monden.

The group planted Golden Trumpet seedlings at the roadside leading to Los Angeles National High School. According to gardenguides.com, Golden Trumpet (Tabebuia chrysotricha) may grow up to 36 inches per year to heights of 15 to 25 feet, spreading 10 to 25 feet wide. Dependable and uniform in growth, the tree varies little in shape or color. This tree sometimes called “Golden Shower” can be seen along the national highway in Bukidnon that blooms every summer.

A total of twenty (20) seedlings from Impasug-ong, Bukidnon were planted.
