BUKIDNON - Over 20 information officers and other technical personnel from the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Centers convened last August 27-29, 2024 at Alomah’s Place and Nature Farm in Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich for the iStorya: ATI Success Story Writeshop 2024.
The writeshop, hosted by the ATI-Central Office, through the Information Services Section (ISD), aimed to compile success stories featuring farmers, extension workers, youth, and other stakeholders particularly those involved in the industries of rice, corn, coconut, high-value crops, livestock, poultry, and organic agriculture.
The resource persons included Karl Louise M. Salibio, Chief of the Knowledge Products and Knowledge Resource Center sections, and Erika Z. Vizcarra, Information Officer II, both from the ISD. They delivered engaging and informative lectures and workshops on the various aspects of writing, including the fundamentals of developing human interest stories, identification, and the basics of editing.
The event concluded with pair editing, one-on-one discussion with the lead editor, submission of each participant of at least one feature story. The group agreed to submit the final article and photos is on September 6, 2024.
