LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – ATI has equipped three newly established FITS kiosks in the region with essential ICT equipment, ensuring local farmers access to vital information and technology services.
These FITS kiosks, which are also Learning Sites for Agriculture, are located at Farm in Barangay San Jose, Bislig City, Madjos Integrated Farm in Antongalon, Butuan City, and Eyana Farm in RTRomualdez, Agusan del Norte.
Luz Dayo, the owner of Dayo Farm in Brgy. San Jose, Bislig City, received a brand-new laptop, printer, smartphone, and IEC materials from ATI-RTC XIII on July 15, 2024. Jason Paul Dads E. Jampac (OIC ISS Chief) and Mary Grace B. Salve (Media Production Specialist II) represented ATI-RTC XIII on behalf of OIC Center Director Dr. Jessie V. Beldia. Alice Millan, Bislig City Agriculturist, and her staff from the City Agriculture Office also witnessed the turnover activity.
Edgardo Madjos of Madjos Integrated Farm received a portable sound system, printer, and 2 smartphone units. Sixto Eyana of Eyana Farm received a Smart TV, printer, and sound system in June 2024.
This ICT support ensures that the FITS Kiosks can effectively provide local farmers access to vital information and technology services, empowering them for success.
