LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – The Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 13 was granted authority by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) through the Council of Agriculture as an accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) provider with accreditation no. AGR-2023-044.

As such, ATI-RTC 13 currently offers CPD-accredited agri-related training programs anchored on various commodity banner programs. This is in support of the government’s effort of improving the competence of the professionals in accordance with international standards, thereby, ensuring their contribution to uplifting the general welfare, economic growth, and development of the nation, as mandated by RA 10912 or the CPD Act of 2016.

For this quarter, a total of 15 training programs with approved accreditation, and seven were submitted for evaluation by the Council of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agricultural Biosystems Engineering.                                                                                                                                       

The PRC Caraga Regional Director Cheryll P. Elicano presented the award to ATI through its CPD Coordinator Mary Grace B. Salve on February 23, 2023 at the Robinsons Place Butuan.

The ATI is hopeful that through this milestone, more Agricultural Extension Workers and allied professionals can benefit from career advancement.
