SURIGAO CITY, Surigao del Norte – The Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII, through its Partnership and Accreditation Section–Livestock Program, distributed 30 sets of veterinary kits to Barangay Biosecurity Officers (BBOs) in Surigao City on September 2, 2025. 

The recipients were participants of the Bantay Africa Swine Fever (ASF) sa Barangay (Babay ASF): Training on Biosecurity and Surveillance for Barangay Biosecurity Officers held on March 13–14, 2025, at JB Nature Farm and Resort, Surigao City.

Each veterinary kit includes vacutainers, needle holders, multi-sample needles, coolers, toolboxes, animal markers, pig restrainers, and gloves, which the BBOs will use in conducting surveillance and disease monitoring within their respective barangays.
