GENERAL LUNA, Surigao del Norte - Led by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Caraga and the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Caraga, together with the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) implementing agencies, successfully held the 2025 Caraga Coconut Festival on August 14-16, 2025 in Siargao Island.

The event, which aims to promote innovations and coconut-based wellness products, strengthens market linkages for coconut farmers and enterprises, and encourages collaboration for the growth and sustainability of the industry.

It highlights a series of lectures from industry leaders, provides insights on investment opportunities, and features a wide exhibition of coconut products through the trade fair and product showcase.

This three-day activity was attended by the Local Government Council led by Hon. Mayor Johnson Y. Sajulga, together with Hon. Vice Mayor Romina Sajulga, DTI Caraga Director Gay A. Tidalgo, PCA Caraga Regional Manager Eric C. Divinagracia, various Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs), coconut farmers, local buyers, and tourists.

The Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII, through its Information Services Section, participated by showcasing its programs and services through the distribution of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials covering various commodities.
