BUTUAN CITY – In pursuit to the equipping of various stakeholders in the national and regional levels on coconut production across the value chain, Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) are set to take on the coconut specialist training course to be conducted by the Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII on March 4-15, 2024.

This training of trainers (TOT) will be participated by 25 AEWs within Caraga Region. It aims to capacitate the participants to deliver topics on various steps, processes, and theories relating to the coconut industry and its production.

Moreover, a special topic on the Coconut Farmer Industry Development Program in relation to Republic Act 11524 known as the Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund (CFITF).

It will be held in partnership with the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Caraga Region Office.
