On December 17, 2024, the Information Services Section of the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center XIII undertook an extensive monitoring and distribution initiative for the Farmer’s Information and Technology Services (FITS) Centers across the province of Agusan del Sur.

The primary objective of this initiative was to ensure the effective functioning of the FITS Centers as critical hubs for agricultural information and technology dissemination. During the monitoring visits, the team assessed the operational status of each FITS Center, addressing any challenges and providing necessary support to enhance their services.

In addition to the monitoring activities, the team distributed a wide range of Information and Education Communication (IEC) materials to the FITS Centers. These materials covered various topics crucial to modern agricultural practices, including advanced farming techniques, pest management, climate-smart agriculture, and sustainable farming practices.

The distribution of these resources is part of ATI-RTC XIII's ongoing efforts to equip farmers with the knowledge and tools they need to improve productivity and sustainability.
