Butuan City – The Agricultural Training Institute –Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII joined the Agribusiness Support for Promotion and Investment in Regional Expositions (ASPIRE) 2025, led by the Department of Agriculture – Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (DA-AMAD), held on August 28-31, 2025, at the Ground Floor of Gaisano Mall, Butuan City.
During the opening program, ATI Caraga OIC-Center Director Noemi Beth G. Macario highlighted the agency’s continuing efforts to empower farmers and agripreneurs through training and development programs. She presented the Farm Business School (FBS) initiative, which equips farmers with tools and knowledge to increase productivity, improve income, and adopt proper farm management practices amid climate change challenges.
“Farming today is not just about cultivation—it is a business that must respond to market demands,” Macario stressed, underscoring the importance of entrepreneurial skills and market awareness among farmers.
ASPIRE 2025 serves as an annual platform to showcase local agricultural products, strengthen market linkages, and encourage investments that promote sustainable agribusiness growth in the Caraga Region.
