BUTUAN CITY – More than 50 students from the College of Agriculture and Agri-Industries (CAA) at Caraga State University participated in an exhibit and information drive conducted by the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center XIII (ATI-RTC XIII) on January 24, 2025, at the Elisa R. Ochoa Library, CSU, Ampayon.
This initiative was spearheaded by the Information Services Section, where Ressell Angelie S. Fetalana, Information Officer II, introduced the students to ATI's role as the training arm of the Department of Agriculture within the Philippines' agriculture and fisheries extension system. Participants were also informed about the programs and services offered by the institute.
Participants were also introduced to the ATI's e-Learning website which features various online courses on crops, livestock, sustainable agriculture, marine and fisheries, and social technology.
Furthermore, Mr. Oliver Terante, a Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) cooperator and owner of Olivier Ecovillage, provided a presentation on herbs and spices. He shared his journey as a farmer and encouraged the students to apply their agricultural knowledge to achieve future success.
