On March 3, 2025, the staff of Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center XIII, along with various line agencies, participated in the kick-off parade and opening ceremony of the 2025 National Women’s Month celebration at Caraga State University (CSU), Ampayon, Butuan City, with the theme: Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas.

The event was graced by CSU President Rolyn Daguil, he delivered the opening message and emphasize the significance of the celebration in uplifting and empowering women in the community. He stated, “Let this celebration serve as a tool for all of us to work together.” Moreover, Mr. Alexander Makinano, Chairperson of RGADC Caraga, also shared a message, concluding with these powerful words: “Let us love, protect, and empower women.”

As part of the activity, the ATI-RTC XIII organized a program to honor the women behind the extension services, recognizing their dedication and contributions in promoting sustainable agricultural development in the region. OIC Center Director Noemi Beth G. Macario delivered a welcome message, highlighting the importance of equality across all sectors and the opportunities available to both men and women. Ms. Ressell Angelie S. Fetalsana, GAD Focal Person, provided an overview of the program and outlined the month's activities, which are open to all genders. Finally, OIC Assistant Center Director Violeta T. Laguna concluded the program with a parting statement, “true empowerment begins with internal strength, cultivated through wisdom, keen observation, and effective organization.”
