TAGBINA, Surigao del Sur – Fifty students from the Northeastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) - Tagbina Campus successfully enrolled in the Agricultural Training Institute's (ATI) e-Learning platform following a briefing and orientation held at the campus on February 7, 2025. This initiative promotes the ATI's e-Extension program and its diverse range of online certificate courses, offering a valuable alternative and supplement to traditional extension services. The e-Extension program aims to reach a wider audience and provide accessible learning opportunities to aspiring and current agricultural professionals.
The e-Learning platform provides supplemental learning materials for students, covering key agricultural areas such as crops, livestock and poultry, marine fisheries, sustainable agriculture, and social technologies. These online resources complement classroom learning and offer students the flexibility to study at their own pace.
Ms. Ressell Angelie Fetalsana of the ATI Caraga Information Services Section also presented an overview of the e-extension programs and services available through the Institute. She highlighted the user-friendly interface of the e-Learning platform and demonstrated the process of navigating the website, enrolling in courses, and accessing learning materials. Participants not only explored the platform but also enrolled in courses of their interest, and some even received their certificates of completion.
This activity marks the fourth successful implementation of the briefing by the ATI Regional Training Center XIII, through its Information Services Section, which aims to increase access to agricultural education through digital platforms.
