BUNAWAN, Agusan del Sur – The Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII is empowering the next generation of agricultural professionals through its e-Learning program. On February 5, 2025, ATI Caraga held its second e-Learning briefing and orientation session at the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur. Led by Dean Dr. Sarah Ravelo, 50 students from the College of Agriculture, representing majors like Animal Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, and BS Agri-Business Management, participated in the event.
The briefing introduced students to the resources available through the ATI’s e-Extension program. This initiative aims to educate students about ATI's crucial contributions to the agriculture and fisheries extension system, promoting the e-Extension Program and its diverse online certificate courses, and ultimately encouraging the young people to become more involved in the agricultural sector.
ATI Caraga recognizes the vital role young people play in shaping the future of agriculture and is committed to providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge.
The students actively navigated the e-learning platform, exploring the user-friendly interface and discovering the wide array of online courses offered. They enrolled in various courses covering the agricultural areas, including crops, livestock and poultry production, fisheries, sustainable agriculture, and even social technologies relevant to modern agricultural practices. The courses are designed to be accessible and engaging, providing students with practical knowledge they can apply in their future careers.
