TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur – Recognizing the roles of the various sectors in the community and the importance of well-being in the productivity of an individual the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII conducted the first batch of Seminar on Mental Health and Wellness on July 7, 2023 at Shacene Pension House and Restaurant.

The one-day activity aims to discuss the importance of mental health and wellness; explain the basic dimensions of mental health and well-being; identify common mental health issues and disorders; and enumerate emotional well-being and stress-reducing practices.

It was participated by 24 individuals composed of senior citizens, 4-H Club members, and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) from Tandag City.

Resource persons from the Tandag City Health Office were Estela Carmen Fatima Azarcon, Rea Antonette B. Dapar, and Mabel R. Sevilla.

The said seminar was conducted under the Gender and Development (GAD) Program of the ATI-RTC XIII headed by Ressell Angelie Fetalsana, GAD Alternate point person and Information Officer II.
