BUTUAN CITY, Agusan del Norte – The Agricultural Training Institute–Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII through its Information Services Section (ISS), conducted an e-Learning briefing for senior high school students of Los Angeles National High School who belong to the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL)–Agriculture Strand and the General Academic Strand (GAS) on September 8, 2025, at the school’s computer laboratory.
The activity gathered Grade 11 and 12 students who are officially enrolled in the Technology-Integrated Radio, e-Learning, and Social Media Education (TreSE+) program, a modified School-on-the-Air (SOA) Program Focused on Vegetable Production.
Ms. Ressell Angelie S. Fetalsana, Information Officer II, introduced the ATI’s electronic extension services as a free, flexible, and cost-effective mode of learning. Through the e-Learning portal, participants were oriented on how to access agricultural courses that are specifically designed to meet the needs of students, farmers, and other stakeholders.
Designed to empower the youth, these courses aim to equip students with essential knowledge, practical skills, and innovative techniques to help address pressing challenges in the agriculture and fisheries sector. It is divided into five categories of crops, livestock and poultry, marine and fisheries, sustainable agriculture, and social technology.
As part of the program, over 100 students were enrolled in at least five (5) e-Learning courses, complementing their lessons under the SOA on Vegetable Production.
