ATI-RTC XIII OIC – Center Director Fil Victor Babanto leads the awarding of LSA certificate to LGU – Cagwait Farm School represented by Municipal Agriculturist Gilbert Bautista (center) on February 24, 2022.

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – The Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII has awarded certificates to four new Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) farms in the region.
The first farm who accepted its certificate is Evemariel Healthy Harvest Agri Farm located at Durian, las Nieves, Agusan del Norte represented by its owner Mr. Eleazar Z. Dinhayan. On the other hand, Municipal Agriculturist Sonny R. Arangote received the certificate on behalf of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tubod, Surigao del Norte for its very own Tubod Sustainable Municipal Agriculture, Recreational and Training Hub (SMART-HUB). Both got their certificates last February 18, 2022.

Moreover, LGU – Cagwait Farm School of Surigao del Sur also had their certificate last February 24, 2022 received by Municipal Agriculturist Gilbert Bautista handed over by Fil Victor Babanto, ATI-RTC XIII OIC-Center Director, and Matt Andrew Baquiano, OIC-Chief of the Partnership Accreditation Services Section (PASS).

Magsasaka Siyentista and owner of J and N Natures Diversified Farm, Jessico John Campos of San Agustin, Surigao del Sur was also recognized as LSA under the Rice Enhancement Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) last March 1, 2022.

The LSA is a farm certified by ATI practicing applicable agricultural

technologies, employing doable farming strategies and operating successfully.
