Stakeholders attend consultation workshop on CFIDP TNA results

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – In its commitment to hold capacity-building programs and appropriate trainings for farmers in the coconut industry, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII conducted the consultative workshop on the validation of Training Needs Assessment (TNA) survey analysis results.

This aims to facilitate a dialogue among the stakeholders to validate the results, evaluate the accuracy and reliability of the gathered data, and present a structured and collaborative approach to interpreting data, customizing training programs, and aligning learning initiatives.

The activity was divided into two, the first level which was held on February 20, 2024 was participated by 30 chairpersons, cooperators, and representatives of farmer cooperatives and associations (FCA); Regional, Provincial, City, and Municipal Agriculture and Fisheries Council sectoral committee; Highly-Urbanized City and Interdependent-Component CityAgriculture and Fisheries Council sectoral committee; and coconut Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSAs).

On the other hand, the second level was conducted on February 22, 2024. It was attended by heads and designated representatives of the National Government Agencies (NGAs), Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), Provincial and Municipal Agriculture Office, and other CFIDP-implementing agencies.

Each level was highlighted by the deliberation on the identified top five priority activities based on the TNA to address the genuine needs of the region.
