CAGWAIT, Surigao del Sur – Aimed to harmonized agricultural plans and programs in the extension services of the High Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP), the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII led the Regional Consultative Meeting and Planning Workshop for HVCDP coordinators on February 23-24, 2022 at Spacebar Beach Resort.

Participants gathered up and created strategies during their teambuilding activity during the Regional Consultative Meeting and Planning Workshop for HVCDP coordinators on Feb. 23-24, 2022 at Spacebar Beach Resort, Cagwait, Surigao del Sur.

The activity was attended by 11 individuals from the provinces and cities of the region. Aside from synchronizing the activities of the partner agencies and different stakeholders, it also determined the training needed by the Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs).

It also wanted the participants to appreciate the need for teamwork and cooperation through its team-building activities led by Novalil Tubo, Social Welfare Officer II of the CSWD – Cabadbaran City.
This was done in partnership with the Department of Agriculture (DA) – Caraga Region represented by Cheryl Virtudazo, Agriculturist II, who conveyed the department’s plans and programs for the fiscal year 2022. Moreover, Mary Jane Gonzaga – Development Management Officer I of ATI-RTC XIII, presented the target training and other extension activities of the center.

"This training really impressed me. Since 2011, I’ve been attending trainings but of all training I’ve attended this is the best one. I’m not only learning technically but also mentally and emotionally,” said Ruby C. Los Baños from Bislig City Agriculture Office.
