TANDAG CITY- The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 recently conducted the training on Digital Farmers Program (DFP) 102 in Tandag City from March 8-9, 2022.

Tandag City Agriculturist Von C. Falcon encourages participants to actively involve in every activity to be done specifically in familiarizing and utilizing agricultural applications available in the internet during the training on Digital Farmers Program 102 in Tandag City on March 8, 2022.

The DFP 102 is the second course in the three-level program that aims to encourage farmers to utilize technologies in farming. It focuses on in-depth applications on agriculture and e-commerce as well as usage of social media and smartphones in boosting their farming productivity.

During the opening program, City Agriculturist Von C. Falcon encourages participants to actively involve in every activity to be done specifically in familiarizing and utilizing agricultural applications available in the internet. He thanked ATI-RTC 13 for spearheading the said training for the farmers and youth.

Moreover, topics on Advanced Agri Apps and Advanced Social Media Marketing was discussed right after the preliminaries in the morning. Said lessons were delivered by Ressell Angelie Fetalsana, Information officer II and John Paul Abonitalla, Technical Staff. Both from the Information Services Section of the ATI-RTC 13.

The DFP 102 training will culminate on March 9, 2022 with some outputs to be accomplished such as social media marketing plans, dream boards, posters, PayMaya accounts and a lot more. This is in coordination with the City Agriculture Office of Tandag City and in partnership with the Smart Communications, Inc.
