SAN AGUSTIN, Surigao del Sur- To further enhance the capabilities of the rice farmers, the J&N Diversified Nature Farm received a certificate as Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Extension Program from the Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII on February 28, 2022.

Mary Jane A. Gonzaga and Florita G. Lozada of ATI 13, together with Engr. Redgy V. Panilan of San Agustin Municipal Local Government Operations Office (MLGOO) and Acting Mayor Franklin A. Navaja handed over the said certificate to Jessico John B. Campos, owner of J&N Diversified Nature Farm.

In their messages, Engr. Panilan and Acting Mayor Navaja expressed their overwhelming thanks to ATI. According to them, through LSA being established in San Agustin, they can now extend more to the needs of their farmers. Moreover, these will also help at enhancing their farmers’ knowledge and skills, especially on modernized production of inbred rice and seeds.

Campos, a SanAg Magsasaka Siyentista (MS), is also a certified rice seed producer and devoted to producing organically grown rice, corn and vegetables.
