LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – Certified as a farm that practices applicable agricultural technologies, employs doable farming strategies, and operates successfully, Cabanbanan Estrella Farm Association Inc. (CEFAI) received its certificate as Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) and extension support under the Rice Program on March 14, 2022.

The farm is located at Barangay Nueva Estrella, Socorro, Surigao del Norte got its extension support which includes Information Communication and Technology (ICT) such as laptop, projector, white screen, printer, and sound system. Chairs and tables were also given during the awarding.

Present during the awarding were Emerito R. Estrella, Chairman of CEFAI, and Fil Victor A. Babanto, Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII OIC-Center Director with OIC - Asst. Center Director Violeta T. Laguna.
